In an effort to maintain an open and transparent government process, Councilwoman Gail Soro (D) of the Town of Wawayanda has requested that the town board host an informational meeting for the public regarding the Town’s ongoing discussions with Chartwell International also known as The Middletown and New Jersey Railway.  Councilwoman Soro feels that discussion between the Railroad and members of the community is merited regarding the future use of the rail line that passes through the town.
