Someone Missing From Article

On Friday August 17th a "My View" article appeared in the Times Herald Record newspaper entitled “Wawayanda board followed law, preserved open space.” The article was written by the town supervisor and three of the four town council people. The name missing was, of course, Councilwoman Gail Soro. Her time, energy and effort as a board member entitled her to at least be asked to contribute to the article. Not only was she not asked to contribute but she was unaware the article was even being written.
There are a number of reasons why they may not have asked her to contribute. She is the only Democrat on the board as well as the only woman. She at times has been an outspoken opponent of the behind closed door meetings which Razzano holds with developers who were also contributors to his campaign.  These meetings resulted in agreements with no input from all town board members or the public. She has pointed out these conflicts of interest to no avail. Councilwoman Soro continues to speak out against anything not in the best interest of the town. This has angered those who have their own agenda to promote. Please visit or call town hall and ask why Councilwoman Soro was not mentioned or consulted about the article.
